Saharsa

Saharsa is one of the thirty-eight districts of Bihar, India. Saharsa city is the administrative headquarters of this district. Saharsa district is a part and the Headquarters of the Kosi Division and it became a district on 1 April 1954. After becoming district Saharsa was converted to the Division Headquarters of Kosi division on 2 October 1972. Which consists of 3 district Saharsa, Purnia and Katihar district, with its headquarters at Saharsa.
